M-DAT Wii™ Golf Tournament
On Saturday November 21st, players will tee off from all over the United States to play nine holes of golf on a Nintendo Wii™ and help the next generation get involved in missions. In addition to three main event locations (Siloam Springs, AR; Orlando, FL; Grand Island, NE), people will play along from their living rooms. We invite Propel readers to be a part of this unique event.
Will you help M-DAT’s ministry by forming a “home team?” Organize a team of friends, co-workers, or members of your church group to play at your home (or someone else’s home if you don’t have a Wii™). Another option is to make it a mother/daughter or father/son activity.
Playing on a home team is really quite easy. Just register to play at http://golf.mdat.org, tell your friends to do the same, then get out some munchies and have a fun evening together! Play on November 19, 20, or 21 and submit your scores online by 8 p.m. CST November 21 to be eligible for player and team prizes. For extra fun, tune into the live web cast of the event while you play! Use this link to watch: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mdat
Registration is $25 per player. Proceeds will be used to provide online resources that help people take their next step in missions. In addition to raising funds for missions, your participation increases awareness of M-DAT’s ministry and our websites: ShortTermMissions.com, PreparingToGo.com, and AskaMissionary.com.
Whether or not you are able to join in the festivities, you can still participate. We have a goal of raising $8,000 in connection with this event. Please consider giving a $25, $50, or $100 donation to help us reach this goal. Your donation will help M-DAT provide websites that pass missions on to the next generation and meaningfully involve believers in the Great Commission.
If you have questions about registering or how to play, give us a call at 479.524.9110 or visit http://golf.mdat.org. We hope you will be able to join us!
